Communism is atheist and communists hate religion because it takes power away from the state. A nation of people that has no God or morality system can be more easily led to do whatever the state wants with minimal protest. The MAGA movement has through social engineering taken conservative attention away from the church and put it towards Trump and his administration. This was achieved through peer pressure and herd mentality, by shaming any conservatives who didn't vote for Trump. Once Trump got elected he did whatever Israel wanted, regardless of whether or not conservatives voted for it. This is one step away from communism being adopted in the West. I have no doubts that if Trump came out as communist many of his followers would continue to support him.
