Yeah, the cape is wacky but I kind of like it. The bat mobile is somehow a tank and submarine. The bat-a-rang shotgun just circles back to campy fun. It's a weird balance.
I still file like the best batman media is the penguin show because it takes the mob politics seriously and makes it just as important as the super villain.
