>story was actually kinda interesting and if you paid attention to detail there was stuff you could connect (for example if you paid attention to one girl's flower in her hair and thought twice you'd realize it's a plot important thing before they reveal it and it makes sense since they later mention she's immune to it and that their mother was a plant spirit born from it)
>gameplay was alright

The only bad thing I would have had to say about the game before this was that some of the side quests were a bit bullshit like having to backtrack to start areas and hug every single wall you can to find hidden chests.
