I've received so many questions regarding the current situation.

As you probably know, I always try to rely on facts in forming my opinions. Right now, we don't possess that many facts - it is obvious that a large number of negotiations are happening behind the scenes and their results will influence the war directly and indirectly (USA-China, USA-India, USA-Brazil, EU-China, EU-USA, BRICS countries - to name just a few).

There are no guarantees that President Trump will force Putin to peace. I remain skeptical. But, of course, many have high expectations.

However, I think that if the meeting between President Trump and Putin does take place soon, a lot will depend on what President Trump puts on the table in terms of pressure and/or possible concessions. Putin is determined to continue the war, as I've written many times.

If their meeting doesn't result in a productive outcome, Putin will present it as a personal incentive for him - as a conversation of equals. He can stall for time without any fruitful results, presenting the very fact of the meetings as his concession and progress.

Ukraine has made our position perfectly clear: we are ready for a ceasefire that will lead to a just and lasting peace. Un-arming Ukraine and preventing us from integration into the European security system are unacceptable terms.

I am grateful to all countries and individuals who continue supporting Ukraine and provide weapons and other critically needed supplies.

Let's rely on sources and not get dragged into the whirlwind of speculations and opinions.
