DLsite has had an alternative system for purchasing stuff now since Visa/Mastercard dropped them, and their sales still plummeted, despite it only taking a few extra minutes to go through the purchasing process

that's the insidious thing about this entire debacle - these evangelicals and feminists realized that banning porn is impractical, but if they make it too inconvenient to access, then it's just as good as banning it since it will financially strangle the people making that content.
