Properly built magatama, weapons and supporters. having a concise strategy that actually goes somewhere. i.e. making all 3 playable characters work to the same goal and actively helping each other, rather than having 3 characters built as if they were solo and expecting them to do well.

Also penetration goes a long way past floor 100, however you never really need to go that high. One thing that's for sure is that the last power hump is floor 40. If you can consistently beat floor 40 you can probably go all the way to floor 100.
