On campaign map or in manuals? Former, mostly no, as they do run into ambushes, but once a while I do see them stand like a pixel outside of an ambush stance army too–and still undetected the following turn, this is rare in my experience but I have seen this a handful of times where it looks suspicious). Latter, I think only if everything you have fielded is hidden.
