Honestly? Same. I’m done. I was a Trump supporter. I believed in the message, the outsider, the tough talk, the America-first energy. But the No Kings protests shattered whatever illusion I was still clinging to. Seeing people flood the streets chanting against tyranny while the administration responds with silence, disdain, or worse, veiled threats… it felt like watching something crack. Not just politically, but morally. We used to say we were fighting the swamp. But what is this now? When peaceful demonstrations get dismissed as chaos or agitators, when dissent is painted as unpatriotic, what exactly are we defending? Because it’s sure not liberty. The optics alone, armored vehicles, surveillance drones, aggressive policing, look like fascist cosplay turned real. You can’t wrap yourself in the flag while spitting on the Bill of Rights. And Trump? He’s not humiliated because they caught him doing something wrong. He’s humiliated because he refuses to engage with the core message: that no man, no matter how golden his escalator, is above accountability. The movement has exposed how fragile and authoritarian the MAGA worldview has become. It’s not about America anymore, it’s about him. I didn’t sign up for a personality cult. I didn’t vote for a king. The No Kings protests made that crystal clear, and painfully so. I’m out.
