Russia needs an alliance like Nato but Nato works because the USA is bossing everyone around like puppets.
Russia is unwilling to boss around smaller countries like the USA and having a full alliance with China and Iran as equal partners is unlikely for a number of reason.China just wants to do nothing and win and they think they can do this forever and Iran is suspicious of Russia because of Russia's boomer obsession with jews and Iran obviously wouldn't be an equal partner in their relationship and they don't want to give up part of their sovereignty.Also Russia don't want to get involved with Irans war with israel because jewish influence in Russia is still too strong.
