So let me get this straight. The manga’s gonna be on hiatus for two damn years, Toriyama’s gone, and the only reason this thing even sold was because his name was slapped on it. Now that he’s dead, I’d bet half or more of the readers already dipped. So when it finally crawls back, they’re gonna have to drop some massive bombshell at a big event just to get attention again. And knowing this franchise’s track record lately? It’s 100% coming back with some bland, safe, low-effort arc that’ll put everyone to sleep. No way they’re recovering the reader base they had. Not even close. RIP momentum.
