The new BBB from the Senate is substantially gutted, largely by orders of Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough. Partial elimination of T&O taxes, SNAP reforms almost completely removed, "gender-affirming care" federally funded again, removal of tax on SS income restructured as a tax deduction for seniors in general, 1% excise tax instead of 5% (because 5% has a less substantial budget impact since it reduces remittances--complete jewish rules lawyer trash), partial removal of border provisions, no more eased EPA regulations, etc.
Overall, I agree and I support BBB. It is our best piece of legislation in many decades. We need to make sure it passes, but it should have a lot of these provisions brought back, and it should have more provisions intended to sweeten the deal. (I really dislike seeing funding for hoholstan among its provisions.)
