Non-jet hulks overspawn and are an anti-fun mechanic that force you to pass the gear check for retarded AT or sniper shit instead of using fun weapons. The new jet hulks are perfect, more options to choose from, and resistant to light pen WITHOUT handing free wins to medium/heavy pencucks. And they can jump. The stronger/more "challenging" (read: gear checking) version isn't always the best one.
