When did this mindset become so prevalent? I play games because I enjoy them and I don't enjoy doing most things IRL. Yeah, my life isn't amazing, but correlation doesn't equal causation.

I don't think people realize how much of our modern existence is just cuckoldry.

Most people listen to music passively and it pisses me off. It's hard to discuss music at a deeper level because the vast majority don't even engage with it as anything but background noise.
