i remember visting family there as a kid, and the bug and lizard and rodent etc. probably is so bad, the only reasonable way to have a backyard pool, is to have a large aluminum skeletal structered/metal screen dome over your backyard if you ever intend to enjoy said pool without spending hours sifting all the dead out of the pool with a skimmer
