It actually kinda happened to one of its artists, Xelvy. His sister that was really close to him died, so he deleted everything off the Internet and vanished, which also caused a lot of problems in the development of Paradox since he was doing the art for a bunch of the important characters. Some people were theorizing that his sister dying caused him to reevaluate his life and feel ashamed of his work.
