I guess there's no such thing as a bad translation in the entire world, everyone just did what they were paid for perfectly. I guess a localizer has never rewritten text in stupid or insane ways because they mistake being a localizer with a writer, and they see the story as their own, often taking way too many liberties and being caught making things up.
