Because you're very naive if you think they are doing this for the same children that they knowingly allow foods that are filled with poison to be marketed towards. Its all about the digital ID that they want to become the standard online. Adult content would also mean places like 4chan, reddit, X, or even steam could have the same requirements. Even if you're anti-porn, this is all about the plan to get rid of online anonymity.
I do think things are gonna go a bit further when it comes to porn specifically. You can call it a jewish invention used to corrupt society, but I don't think its important enough to not be on the chopping block like a lot of the woke agendas they tossed out the window this year. Banning porn could be a useful play that would appeal to conservatives.
