I'm not gay so Kuro releasing a male character makes the decision very simple for me. If it's a male I won't role for it. If a character is released that is designed to play with a male character (such as Lupa, for example), then I will simply pretend that BiS character doesn't exist and wait until a compatible character comes out that will at least somewhat work with the character. Designing teams that way is even more fun, actually, than just going with whatever team the developer dictates to you
