It's funny seeing all the Switch 2 drama online while the Japanese seem to be extremely positive about the console. I wonder if it's because they're used to variable pricing. This really reinforces the difference between Westerners who claim they scorn Western business practices and love Japanese game culture and actual Japanese game culture. There's probably a load of other instance of this happening, but this is the biggest one I've seen. That's good news for people who actually like Japanese games though. My only complaint is that I wish we had some more off-the-wall and nicher games at launch, but those will come in due time.
