I actually really like anime. I love older stuff like Kanon, Windy Tales, Aku no Hana, I love the Japanese cinematographical vision... I think the Japanese make movies in such an interesting way, I watched the movie All About Lily Cho-Chou recently. I don't know what it is about Japanese media, but it just exudes this childhood nostalgia in such a raw way. Japanese minimalism, man, something about it is so eerie. The Japanese aesthetics and mindsets that historically went into anime used to be very unique.
