Hello girlies!
I want to try to split my PhD between the nuclear physics group I am a part of now and a new AMO group. Both are doing precision measurements of the weak mixing angle. I love nuclear physics, but quantum simulation is really cool too and there are more jobs and will be more jobs in the future related to AMO. Is this a good idea? Do you think both professors would let me go along with it?
