They escaped the "We need to sell very well in Japan to make a profit" cage so they'll be fine. However, they have been flying a little bit too close to the sun with their recent games' long term receptions. This could hurt them in the future if they don't figure out RE Engine's massive bottlenecks

It's gonna be Sega. The JSR and Crazy Taxi GAAS bombing back to back on top of Persona 6 underperfoming, because it won't be on Switch nor Switch 2, so Japanese sales' expectations must be halved if not 3/4 slashed, would cripple SEGASammy worse than Ubisoft and Square Enix. Do remember that SEGA expects 5 million copies for P6 in 365 days, that's not going to happen on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC in a world where Nintendo has a near 100% market share in Japan. Also, SEGA did say in 2019 when P5R released in Japan only that sales were below their expectations and that game did about 200k in its FW lol
