Lorene closes her eyes, and blows.

…She prayed her wish would come true.

“…Alright, let’s dig in!”

Olivia begins measuring out how to divide the cake evenly with some strange eyeballing with the plastic utensils. Ruth looks at the two of you nervously.

“w-what did you guys wish for?”

Olivia closes one eye as she tries to line up the perfect cut. “Silly Ruth, if we tell each other, they won’t come true!”

“o-oh yeah…” Ruth looks down at her hands, fidgeting shyly. “i-i hope you guys wished for the same thing i did…”

Lorene glances at Olivia, before taking Ruth’s hand with a smile. “I do too.”
