when people are mean to me online—i just ignore them. i walk away from my computer with the dignity knowing that they wasted their precious time and energy trying to get under my skin, and got nothing in return, much akin to a cuckold. it’s so freeing. it’s—liberating knowing that i make these people seethe at their computer screens by the very act of existing.
