Hell Is No Longer Elsewhere:
Christ descends not to extract, but to transform. He does not touch hell and depart. He remains, and in remaining, He rewrites the fabric of what hell is.
What was exile is now presence. What was distance is now disclosure. What we called “hell” is no longer a place apart, but the name given by the false self to the unbearable nearness of the Real.
There is no realm where God is not. Hell has not been emptied and left as it was, it has been absorbed. Swallowed in light. Now it is part of heaven, not erased but transfigured.
The fire still burns. But it is not wrath. It is love. Love intolerable to the idol-self, because God has no relationship with illusions. He does not flatter masks. He loves the person, and the person is what the idol-self exists to prevent.
What we call torment is simply the presence of God as experienced by what is not truly us.
