At this point I think this is going to result in the US losing all leverage over Ukrainian decision making. Even if a deal is cut, the AFU won't comply and RuAF will be forced to continue operations, which will effectively carve the US out of any real influence going forward and possibly may result in weapons shipments stopping. The last bit there is unlikely in my estimation, but it's a nonzero chance.
