U.S. Defense Secretary Hegsett confirmed the U.S. has redeployed counter-drone air defense systems from Ukraine to the Middle East.

“At a congressional hearing I was asked: ‘Did you really move counter-drone systems from Ukraine to the Middle East?’ I answered: ‘Yes, we did.’ We are using all available means to protect OUR people in the region and worldwide. Small drones today pose a serious threat — and we are as prepared as possible.”
