Serious, cool and confident yet also silly at times, vulnerable and extremely fucking cute, Liang Yue isn't a girl I expected to love as much as I do going into the event, especially since her type of character isn't the kind I normally end up loving.
2.5 and Liang Yue's character story however sold me on the character SO HARD that she's my first R15 and is tied with Regulus and Marcus for my absolute favourite in the game.
Her character story honestly compliments the main story super well where she said in the main story that she never really tried to connect with Qiangliang and wasn't really friends with it but that was very much shown to be a lie born of the brutal near-abuse training she was put through for the sake of "living up to it" every day making her forget her happier memories of being with it as its presence is associated with the loss of her childhood culminating in the amazing phone call with her father where she expects to be harshly scolded or hated but is instead met with him admitting he made a mistake and just being happy that she's ok which is when the weight of everything starts to lift and she's able to start moving past it and I realised I'm just talking about how good her character story is but the writing is part of WHY I love her so much.
She's also just really cool and cute as mentioned before though so that's definitely a factor and I really hope her obligatory unique costume in a year is good.
