it's not just the chore of putting on clothes and heading to the shelter. It's the fact that Israel's whole shtick is escalation with impunity. This means that so far its been able to strike Sana'a with the Houthis only being able to provoke shelter runs. Israel is locked into a narrative of having escalation dominance, of being able to hit harder than the other guy. Which means tomorrow they hit a big commercial complex in Tehran and day after picrel, the Diamond Exchange in Tel Aviv, goes bye bye.
Now why would Antwerp Jews stay in Tel Aviv when there's not even a working diamond exchange? They won't. And that's just one freakin example. What if Iran loses a car factory making Peugeot 407s and in return they just take out an Intel chip design office?
