buying flowers has the vibe of like. a really sad man apologizing to his girlfriend by giving her something more to look after. also where i live International Women's Day seems to just be Clueless Dudes Buy Their Wives Flowers day. It's kinda soured me on buying flowers for someone.

yes I do, I miss when I lived at my parents place and could just grab whatever from the garden and put it in a glass on my desk or something. When apple trees bloom is kinda my fave time of the year too. When we last moved my ex accidentally broke my favorite vase and i'm sad about that.
