The guy on the left is irrelevant, I guess. It's Patrick Gallagher, a mixed Irish/Chinese Canadian actor. The guy on the right is Paul Watling. He's one of the show's directors who also looks vaguely mixed. A lot of kids' shows (like Big City Greens's rednecks, Gravity Falls being about twins, Amphibia with its thai family, etc.) are loosely based on the creator's childhood dynamics. So maybe the guy really is mixed and he's just making a show about himself.
