Details of the serious incident

The soldiers were wounded during a brigade-level attack by the Northern Brigade in the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip.
During the attack, explosive devices were detonated against a foot patrol operating in the area. While attempting to evacuate the wounded, the force came under fire.

In addition to the five soldiers who were killed and the two who were seriously wounded, 12 other soldiers were wounded to varying degrees and were evacuated for medical treatment at hospitals. Their families have been notified.
