What's the point of Truth Social? Why does Trump make certain posts on Truth Social but not on Twitter/X? It doesn't make sense to me. It's like "classic Trump" style tweets are only on Truth social, that no one but his most die-hard supporters actually sees. Everyone else is still on X or Facebook or other social media.
Trump was arguably King of Twitter, long before he decided to run for president. As late as 2013 and 2014 he was one of the most prolific twitter accounts and one of the funniest there. Even people who hated Trump recognized his prowess with a tweet.
I understand why he created Truth Social, since he was banned from Twitter in 2021 after stepping down from the presidency. But once Elon bought Twitter, and they re-instated Trump's account...why did he remain on Truth Social? Or why not at least just use Twitter like normally and have Truth Social as a backup? Instead it's like he's still just focused on making Truth Social posts, and anything on twitter is just official government stuff. It's weird, I don't get it. Wouldn't he want his messages to be spread to the widest possible audience? What the fuck is actually going on here?
