"There'd best be a good reason I am being interrupted." Pietro warned.
"According to Centrian code §4.2.100, for a Savant to be officially considered one by the I.D.C.A he must have a total of three signatures to prove it." He said.
"§4.2.100?" The dwarf councilor repeated. He turned to the other councilors. "Since when? I tend to be on top of these types of laws, and I've not heard of this yet."
"Last month, sir." Replied a different bureaucrat.
"Hah! No wonder I didn't hear of it." Joldmac harrumphed. "I doubt many Savants would have the patience to care for such a law."
"I wouldn't worry." Elre countered. "Most of those affected by Lunacy Savantae aren't 'officially' considered Savants by Centria for one reason or another, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Of course that doesn't mean we need deny what our own eyes see."
"To be completely fair," Pietro interrupted, "This doesn't mean you can't market your products as Savant-made."
"It does, however, mean that we here at the I.D.C.A cannot use our signatures to officialize it to the general populace." Elre concluded.
"Well I can just have my wives confirm it." You said. "They all know I have Lunacy Savantae."
"Unfortunately," Said one of the secretaries, a modest looking half-arachne, "The testimony of your own slave-wives wouldn't be considered valid. They'd simply do as you asked. It would be remiss of us to allow it."
"Alternatively," Said Kalman, a slimy smile already formed on his lips, "We in the council could sign your papers. For the sake of efficiency."
"A splendid idea, brother." Wilcur replied. "I wouldn't balk at this opportunity, Lord Doe."
Already the former was motioning to an elvish secretary to get the papers needed.
"Master," Ruby Rose leaned towards one of your ears and whispered, "It's odd that they already have this set up already. Wouldn't you say?"
Even Ayane, though she tended to reject most of Ruby's theories, ever so subtly indicated to you that she didn't trust this.
You frowned.
>"It won't be necessary." Most would would know that you're a Savant already. There was no need for more paperwork.
>"I can get the signatures myself." You'll agree, but you'd do this in your terms, not theirs. You knew of a few people that would be happy to confirm you were a Savant. (Will eat up some time either tomorrow or later today to get signatures).
>Though you didn't trust this, you'd let it happen for the sake of getting it over with. You'd have your wives look over the paperwork just to make sure no surprises were in store.

With that done, there was continued talk of many miscellaneous matters between you all.
A glance at the clock told you it was already 4:00pm. That meant that if you were able to wrap things up here you might just make it in time to see the beginning of 'Kitsunes: Demi-Human or Beastfolk?' without worry.
>Talk about something else. (What?)
>Try to wrap things up here and go to the Centrian Academy.
