The reason why antiai opinion is failing and will fail is because you can't hold a stance against consuming. You can't be an anticonsumer today, you can't tell people to not enjoy something.

David Foster Wallace spoke of this, unless science invented a device within your body that controls "unalloyed pleasure" then people cannot resist losing themselves to consumption. Until that day comes people will enjoy their porn, weed, slop and bad movies. You may resist, but you can't expect others to resist pleasure.
