it's mostly episodic but there is an overarching plot with a resolution. it's definitely worth watching. some of the best music too. yoko kano did the music and she's always fantastic but for this one she assembled a group of jazz musicians who ended up calling themselves The Seatbelts because "the jam sessions were so intense you had to strap yourself in".
