Well I couldn't give less of a shit about them just existing but to answer your question a minor negative is that it apparently isn't enough for a lot of them to simply be trans or for that matter xyz sexuality or gender, there are a lot of em online that roll it into their personality and tend to just be more loud and militant about it so I end up coming across shit like picrel on social media. Likely if there wasn't a very real culture war the trannies felt compelled to engage in they'd quiet down like the gays did when being gay became unremarkable and boring and I hope it's sooner than later.
But in the meantime apparently they've driven the chronically online zeitgeist to a point that even in some mainstream places expressing that something is not-trans and straight is apparently derogatory. And frankly it is annoying to catch strays like this when as a not-trans straight guy I'm all for them doing whatever the fuck they want
