For the pixelation, see the top of my image. You can insert a cube (or a similar, simple object) into the scene, then use the material editor symbol at the bottom of the workspace to change it's shader to pixelate. With the sliders you can then ajust the size of the pixels. It's a neat little trick where everything behind the cube now get's pixelated...
For the "shadows", I used a posterization effect, so I reduced the amount of colors so to speak. In the bottom of my image, you see I open the Post-Processing Effects window. You can check in the F1 plugin settings if you have the plugin and with what hotkey you can open it. There you just enable posterize and reduce the amount.
Both of these things combined gave me the effect in the image you replied to... I hope this helped!
