Spacing stuff out is really weird. I thought I would be able to walk around the world and go "Hmm there should be a house here." And plop one down. But in practice getting a scale on how big the area you're walking around in is proving challenging to say the least. Having a chunk system just makes it that much harder to conceptualize.
