that happens to all of the villains in the story, that's how the current anniversary story ends

The archon quest in this patch was the first quest that I've ever paid attention to in my 5 years of playing this game, and it was actually pretty good.

I really like the main storyline in genshin, I just wish they'd give us the option to skip the dialogue in the side quests at least...
