Jokes aside I always believed the best is having both worlds, normie like products and niche ones, the stuff for general audiences can be bigger in budget but is also nice to have smaller projects for smaller groups, Sapphire Safari and Carnal Instinct are nice examples of niche products made to satisfy such audiences (me).
I hope AI could get better to speed up and add more manpower to single/indie projects and one day see a AAA like game with HMOFA content
