The Absolute Solver/Cyn can fully decide whether the Disassembly Drones have their personalities and memories or not when shunting them into new bodies upon revival ("backups") as The Solver says in Episode 7 to N.

It's a shame a lot of people didn't pay attention to the other DDs in Episode 6. But yeah, the implication is that the other DDs weren't as free / didn't have their personalities as in-tact as N, V and J.
>"You know, you're one of the main reasons I wanted you and your team to retain your personalities."
>"You always surprise me."
Prior to Uzi jacking into N and V's memories in Episode 5, and then replacing Cyn as their Solver Host administrator, The Solver was literally just allowing N, V and J some degree of individuality purely for fun, torment, and its own amusement. The other DDs, apparently not so much.
Not having their original personalities doesn't necessarily mean they were feral or mindless, but The Solver was directly controlling them to a much higher degree than N, V and J because it can just make them loyal by default.
