The Istaroth design is really not being subtle about being Paimon huh, not that this hasn't been speculated since literally the start of the game.
Paimon is the only one who moves when you pause the game.
Paimon "accidentally" stopped the players from seeing her flashback room in the time frozen Chasm quest.
