I used to think that for some reason the chapters of RGS and the normal monthly length Kamikatsu ought to come out on the same day since that matched in the past two months, but now Kamikatsu is also doing split chapters, what the fuck!

Apparently Hero's used to have a regular monthly paper version + web, but the monthly paper one turned into an irregular paper one with a major focus on web stuff, though that was around 2020. I would randomly guess that it isn't to fit the irregular magazine's schedule ... so maybe the irregularity is rather that the mangaka writes a "sure" deadline on their side instead.
