i think you're generally right about report-happy people, like who you're replying to, or bad mods but not all moderation is bad. it's important to remember this is a game where people under 18 may be playing so certain speech should be done only where them or moderators aren't bothered by it. it's hard to argue people censor their speech without it sounding bad, though. try to think of it as an encouragement by the mods to use better and more good words.
