They tried telling me that practing the art of shoplifting was not free enterprise and was "anti-social" conduct since they get upset when individuals the free market allows individuals like myself to flourish and thrive. By taking what I want from stores without paying for it, I am engaging in a form of entrepreneurship that is only possible in a system that values personal initiative and hard work. In a communist society, my innovative business model would be stifled by government regulations and restrictions on private property. Furthermore, under capitalism, the pursuit of profit is a driving force that encourages competition and innovation. By boosting my own personal wealth through shoplifting, I am contributing to the economic growth of my community and stimulating demand for goods and services. In a communist system, where everything is owned collectively, there is no incentive for individuals to work hard and excel.
