Nuclear can run for 40-60 years on relatively little amount of fuel, compared to their output. Nuclear fuel has the greatest energy density after fusion (which is not available due to interests blocking progress, see above).
What's expensive are the safety measures needed but they are build once and then run. Maintenance cost is relatively tiny.
