Its not really abuse but it stuck out with me for a long time. It also contributed to insomnia and fear of the dark ive had throughout my teenage years which lowkey lobotomized me and fucked with my school life bc i would stay up until it was bright outside or sleep with my lights on.

>Skip out on homework to play minecraft with some pals
>We were too stupid to do teamspak or third party chatting so we just roughly agreed to meet up on a given public server on a given hour.
>Have a blast before mommy tells me its time to hit the hay
>Brush my teeth and get comfy after a fun day
>Figure ill just wing in the homework tomorrow
>Mom offhandedly complains about my homework skip to dad who's chilling and boozin' in front of the TV
>Dad gets angry
>Tells me i cant go to sleep until ive done my homework
>Refuse bc i'm super tired
>Dad keeps flipping the light in my bedroom on and physically restrains me when i get up to turn it off
>Try to sleep regardless
>Dad grabs my pilow away and screams so that i cant possibly pass out
>Start crying at this point
>Dad's boozed so he just thinks its funny and laughs
>Goes off to grab a snack from the kitchen
>Use that time to grab my sheets and crawl under the bed hoping to hide out there and spend the night that way
>Super tired at this point. Can barely keep my eyes open.
>Mustve been closing in on the midnight.
>Dad comes back and forcibly drags me out of my little hideyhole
>Break down and weep because i'm just so tired and i dont know how to get that retard to go away
>Eventually my mom comes to push him outside the room and in front of the TV again
>Sleep horribly
>Wake up at 4AM
>Stay in bed stressed for a reason i didnt understand back then
>Fall asleep at my desk multiple times and get into trouble
>Also my dad was in just his briefs bc thats how he sleeps and it was late.
I do love him but i think he might genuinely disabled.
