Just make it a support weapon in the style of grenades like with the rec-6 from the first game. It took 2 grenades to drop most heavies assuming you got that perfect hit and you could throw multiple before detonating all of them at once so it should be able to have that objective destruction niche as well. It sure as hell would spice up the disposable support weapon fans.
