So you know how umas have cute campaigns and training is fairly deterministic? Let's get rid of all that and make you race your uma on every turn and instead you're buying your stats from an item shop for points you get for racing. No story, no URA finals, just racing. Umas love racing so that's what you're giving them and since you're doing much more than 3 in a row shit gets wild. Your uma will get depressed, crippled and have skin cancer but you will drug her enough for her to ignore the pain and carry on. Now every run is just like Urara abuse run only for every uma you have.
Needless to say racing takes a lot more time than training and the shop is mostly rng. Oh, did senior summer shop have the wrong items in it? Your uma is now bricked 40 minutes into the training. Start over.
